Director of Hospice

Company Description:
Large, regional, systems-based Home Care and Hospice throughout 7 Mountain States that include 20 hospitals, long-term care centers and facilities specializing in the needs of children, as well as an array of other services, including family clinics and home medical equipment services. Currently there is the need to hire a Director of Hospice to oversee the hospice program in the Phoenix area.
Job Description:
The Director of Hospice will ultimately be responsible for the overall operations of the hospice program, overseeing the traditional home care hospice and the 2 in-patient units as well as starting up the 3rd in-patient unit. All of these locations are in the greater Phoenix area.
Requirements:
A successful Director of Hospice with a proven track record of overseeing the operations of multiple locations while continuing to grow the program. An RN is preferred, but not required. A high energy executive with a background in a health system would be optimal.
